Rulers is an application that let you measure, align and inspect everything is on your monitor(s). It is available for both Mac and Windows. Rulers allows to create on whole screen area a set of rulers, like most common graphic editors allows on their working areas only. Using the guide lines enables to measure and position objects with precision and it’s incredibly useful in many fields, such as computer graphics, desktop publishing and web design.

Rulers can also be used to select a screen area and take a screenshot that is automatically saved to your desktop or copied to system clipboard.

Main Features:

• Available Rulers: Switch among horizontal, vertical, diagonal ruler or their groups and protractor ruler quickly and easily.
• Measuring Units: Measurement in pixels, inches, picas, centimeters, angles, radians and some other units customized as you need.
• Multiple Lines: Three kinds of lines on the Mac ruler are available with base line for deciding measurement-starting point, guidelines for marking and measured line for deciding measurement-ending point.
• Precise Positioning: Magnifying Detail window and Direction key control are very helpful. The screen ruler for Mac can be located to cursor's location precisely by key shortcut (Command+ O) With Detail window for magnifying.
• Rulers Adjustment: Direction key control is used for slight adjustment while ruler on Mac can be rotated 45 degrees at one time by Command + rotate button.
• Results Recording: Logger window with memo for saving results which is so convenient for users to contorl the Mac screen software.
• Memorizing Function: Rulers for Mac will show previous condition and location of Detail window and Logger window while you open it.
• Unlimited Length: Rulers can be extended unlimitedly but always within screen under Mac OS.
• Stay on Top: Ability for screen ruler to float above other application windows.
• Shortcut Settings: Multiple keyboard shortcuts are available to operate the screen ruler. Right click on the ruler, it will display some shortcut settings.
• Customizable settings: Transparency, length and angle units, magnification, background and foreground line color can be customized.
